Eurovisie Songfestival 2020 bookmakers odds Eurovision

So apparently the Romanians had selected the singer Roxen as artist and had 5 different songs written that she sang in a live broadcast, allowing the viewers to televote the song to bring to Rotterdam for the ESC. Beforehand, “Cherry Red“ was a fan favorite, but in the end the track “Alcohol You” won.
Many fans were angry and believe Roxen sabotaged her own Cherry Red live performance because she didn’t want the song. Just look at the awkward dancing, and look at the comments all suggesting she sabotaged.
Now I think there’s a logical explanation for this. Cherry Red is clearly the best song and also the only one out of the five that was fully Romanian-written. It sure had a great chance of winning since even “Alcohol You” put her 7th according to bookmakers.
But here’s the thing; the coronacrisis went so horrible that they cancelled the Eurovision Song Contest competition and did a sort of special broadcast last night that was all about unifying Europe (and Israel, Cyprus and Australia) during the crisis. There will be no winner, and the songs are not allowed to be used anymore next year, although the artists are allowd to come back next year. Roxen is already confirmed as 2021 act for Romania.
Roxen probably knew or highly suspected that the Covid-crisis would end up cancelling the ESC (the live broadcast was in early March) and might have known or suspected that it would mean the song that got nominated would not be allowed next year hence get “wasted”. She sabotaged Cherry Red as the most popular song, so she can use it next year and have a serious shot at winning
EDIT: apparently Cherry Red isn’t available to use anymore due to release dates, however it’s still preferrable to have it cancelled with a normal song than to have it cancelled with a potential winner, this way the anger doesn’t accumulate at one point but divided over the natuonal selection (Alcohol You nominated) and the cancellation of the contest (no chance of winning either way) rather than all at the cancellation (realistic expectation of winning being stolen by Eurovision/corona)
